Non-woven wallpaper is an easy to hang ‘paste the wall’ product. Do not paste the paper.
At least 2 people are recommended to install the wall mural!
Before you start:
We make every effort to deliver a top quality product in a perfect condition.
Your wallpaper comes in panels. Be sure to examine ALL panels BEFORE installing them. Prior to applying paste, lay out your mural to ensure that you are happy with the print and colour match and that it fits together correctly. If you find a defect, do NOT install the mural. I will offer an exchange for incorrect, damaged and defective items only, within 15 days of the date of receipt. If your wall mural was damaged during transit, I will ask for a picture showing the damage and I will contact you ASAP to resolve the issue.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check all wallpaper panels BEFORE hanging them on the wall as I cannot provide replacements for any that have been pasted or hung already.

- Prepare the wall
Before you start installing, remember that the walls must be clean, smooth and dry. All cavities and holes need to be filled in. The wall should be primed before hanging the wallpaper. It is a good idea to paint the wall white if it has bright colors. Turn off the power and remove all faceplates, socket covers switches and skirting boards.
- Unpack the wallpaper
Lay each panel face up on the ground. Each panel has been supplied with a few centimeters bleed at the top and bottom. Please, note that non-woven wallpaper is WITHOUT overlap. Make sure that the graphic motives on every sheet fit together.
- Draw a plum line
NB!!! Since the placement of the first panel determines the overall look of the finished mural, take extra time and care to place it accurately. To mark the position of the first panel, draw vertical lines on the wall using a pencil and a level. It is important to hang each panel straight.
- Prepare and apply the wall mural adhesive
Prepare the wall mural adhesive. For the non-woven murals you need a special paste – for fleece wallpapers/non-woven wallpapers. They are clearly marked as such in DIY shops. This paste is applied directly to the wall (unlike the equivalent for paper-based wallpapers, which is spread on the back of the lengths of wallpaper). This also means that there are no waiting times to let the paste soak into the paper. Non-woven wallpapers which have been hung using the appropriate paste can be removed later in a dry state without leaving any residue.
Apply the paste to the wall using a roller or brush. Paste the walls evenly. Only apply paste one panel wide plus 3-4cm. Do not apply paste to the whole wall, as it will dry and become unusable. Paste as you go, pasting just wider than the panel you are hanging. Any excess paste on the ceiling, skirting etc. should be gently removed with a clean wet sponge before it is allowed to dry.
NB! The success of your project depends on the proper application of the right adhesive. For example, if you apply too much adhesive, the paste seeps through the backing and onto the decorative surface. Too much adhesive can also cause excessive shrinking or slow drying, which can create problems. Too thin – and it won’t stick or the edges will curl.
- Hang the first panel
Attach the wall mural from the top, slowly pressing downward, removing air bubbles along the way. If they appear, you will easily remove them using your hands or a wallpaper brush, moving them from the top to the bottom or from the center to the edges.
Smooth and press the wall mural carefully, making sure that the edges have been properly sticked to the wall.
Gently remove any excess of paste with a damp soft cloth or a sponge.
- Hang the rest of the panels
Each of the subsequent panels shall be installed the same way as described above. Remember to match the elements. Please note that for non-woven mural the installation is without overlapping.
- Smooth down the panels
Use your hands or a wallpaper brush to smooth down the mural from top to bottom to remove any trapped air bubbles.
- Trim any excess paper
Using your straight edge and a sharp knife trim the excess wallpaper along the ceiling and skirting. For a perfect finish always use a sharp knife or blade and make the cut in one clean movement.
- Drying
Leave the wall mural to dry for a few hours at room temperature. Once the wallpaper piece is up it will dry and pull itself nice and tight on the wall.
- Enjoy your new decor!
- Care & Maintenance
- When cleaning the mural, only use a mild soap-andwater solution. DO NOT use products that contain bleach or petroleum-based ingredients.
- Murals should be hand-cleaned only. Clean mural beginning at the top and work down.
- Use lint-free cloth rags or sponges for cleaning. DO NOT use scrubbing pads or scouring sponges.
- If your wall mural has seams, be sure that you DO NOT wipe cleaning solution into the seam. This could cause the edges to lift and curl up from the wall.
